Metalúrgica Orro S.L. was established in January 2000 to satisfy the growing need for Light and medium sheet metal in the Wind Energy sector. Over the last nine years the company has grown strongly. Starting off with a workforce of 8 employees and increasing to the 70, and with a turnover near to €10 million.

Spanish Association of Welding.

Metallurgical Orro was elected to the board in the last ordinary session of CESOL the Spanish Union Association of Welding & Technology* on the 30 March 2011 in Madrid.

CESOL is the Spanish representative in the European Welding Federation (EWF) and the International Institute of Welding (IIW) and as such focus for Welding in Spain.

Mrs. Castro Patricia: study chemistry, is Master in Quality, Environmental and Occupational Safety and Health, International Welding Engineer and Manager of Quality in Metallurgical Orro. be represented on the Board of Directors. In CESOL she represent the sector, commodities, industrial and maintenance.

As of today we have expanded our business activities, from now on we also “repairing and are constructer of ship hulls”.

In April, coinciding with the inauguration of the shipyard seco
with the latest technologies in the aluminum processing.

Occasion of the inauguration will be the construction of a vessel with 8 m length.

The yard also has a showroom (see photo), to conduct customer meetings and presentations.
